What Coding Assistant does

In hospital, asks the clinician the specificity question that the coder would otherwise ask weeks later, before discharge.
In general practice, proposes the MBS item with its descriptor, its frequency rules and the evidence in the note for each criterion.
Flags a note that supports a lower item as readily as one that supports a higher.
Records the question, the answer and the choice, so the audit trail is complete.
